Pyrrole is a five-membered heterocyclic compound containing a nitrogen heteroatom. It is a colorless liquid at room temperature. It naturally exists in coal tar and bone oil. It quickly turns black in the air and has a significant pungent odor. The relative density is 0.9691, the boiling point is 130-131℃, and the freezing point is -24℃. Almost insoluble in water and dilute alkali solution, soluble in ethanol, ether, benzene and mineral acid solution. Very stable to alkalis.Application of Pyrrole
